Dear Sirs.
This is an explanation of the photos I have enclosed concerning the four wheelers in the pictures, what type of tires and so forth. Let me first tell you where the photos were taken. They are all in the same place, as a matter of fact all within 50 feet of each other. All but one were taken on the same day on a rather large ride with all types and sizes of four wheelers as well as a large assortment of trucks. The ride was held in what is locally known as the Flatwoods located just outside of Cave Spring, GA. on the Georgia and Alabama border.
Let me tell you that the mud in most of these holes is of the kind that will literally suck your boots off your feet. And once in some of these holes it requires a winch or in lots of cases a truck, or a boat load of elbow grease if neither of the first is available. Enough of the talk let me tell you about the photos. (Each photo is numbered on the back).
I. An almost new Honda Foreman with 26 in. Vampires. Didn't make it to far, in fact had to use the truck and eventually pull him out from the front.
II. An older Polaris Sportsman 500 on stock tires didn't even get all the way in the hole. This photos shows just how nasty most of the holes are down here.
III. My brother on his 83 Blaster after he jumped it in the same spot. We had to snatch him back out with a new Kodiak.
IV. A Yarnaha Wolverine on stock tires. As you can tell he never had a chance. This is the way most holes down here are, they don't look that bad till you get in them. Then your tires disappear.
These last three are in the same hole in the order that they went into it.
V. A Yamaha Kodak on 26 in. Ditch Witch tires. Finally got down in the hole and that is where he stayed for a while. He got here and the motor died. The Honda in the next photo had to winch him out.
VI. A Honda Foreman 450 ES on 27 in Swamper Vampires. Everyone thought he would just tear this hole up with the Vampires but he barely got in it good and played for a minute or two before he had to be winched out.
VII. A Honda Foreman 450 S on your new 27 in. Tri Claws. This Honda was unstoppable in this hole. He dug it out deeper and played in it for about ten minutes. This thing refused to get stuck in this hole. Everybody cheered him on.
Sincerely yours,
Jacob Clayton
